Work Spaces

Need to get stuff done? Spaces to work on campus.

MassArt has plenty of options when it comes to spaces to get stuff done. Whether you need to make a mess with paint, or simply work on your laptop, the options for working areas are plenty. Here is where to find them.

The Library

DS9

Located on the 9th floor of Tower, this space is reserved just for Communication Design and Illustration majors. Available work spaces include desks that you can reserve as yours for the semester, along with spaces available for temporary use. Interested in reserving a desk? Contact Luanne Witkowski, the Studio Director at DS9.

Library

The library spans the 12th and 13th floors of Tower building. With amazing views of Boston, a variety of seating options, and lots of outlets, this is an awesome space to get work done. Seating options range from standard desks, to lounge chairs equipped with side tables, to accommodate whichever situation you work best in. Be sure to browse their collection of books too, there are so many awesome resources there!

Banana Room

The Banana Room can be found on the 2nd floor of Tower. This space is equipped with tables overlooking Huntington Ave, and is a great place to work independently or with others. Student artwork is also on display in this space.
